Media Buyer

Responsibilities:
•    Work with planning to establish market costs
•    Negotiate media on annual or quarterly basis
•    Buy maintenance (gather spot times, manage make goods)
•    Post buys
•    Attend client meetings with Media Director as needed to present buys, post buys, media opportunities
•    Client billing
•    Manage budgets
•    Invoice approval, reconciliation
•    Maintain weekly status report of projects for client and Media Director
•    Evaluate media opportunities and provide a POV on those opportunities
•    Planning support
•    Assistance on projects from Media Director
•    Help manage and train Media Coordinator
Requirements:
•    Minimum 3 years experience in broadcast buying (OOH, print, digital is preferred as well but will train)
•    Experience with buying software (STRATA, SMART+, Donovan)
•    Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
•    Ability to present to clients
•    Proficient in Excel, PPT, Word
•    Organized
•    Can multi-task
•    Work independently
•    Manage deadlines
•    Willingness to learn
•    Can take on menial tasks or major challenges
•    Willingness to accept direction that will improve upon work
•    Interest in building positive relationships with media vendors and clients as well as co-workers
